Scottsdale, Arizona August 17, 2007. Advanced Motion Measurement announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Acushnet Company, the manufacturer of Titleist golf products.

Advanced Motion Measurement (AMM) is a Phoenix-based company that develops products and services to capture, measure, and analyze human motion. Its products are applicable to any use in which the accuracy of motion measurement is critical. Thus, they can be used to rapidly and cost-effectively improve the physical performance of athletes, patients, workers, and soldiers and reduce the incidence of injury. Stephen Cheetham and his brother Phillip, an Olympic Athlete and biomechanist, founded the company in 2003.

The agreement with Acushnet Company exists to develop and market golf-related products and services combining the motion measurement and analysis software developed by AMM and performance improvement protocols developed by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). TPI will market and sell these products and services under the TPI brand to individuals and businesses engaged in golf-performance and fitness training, and sports medicine.

Phillip Cheetham, President of AMM says, “We are extremely excited about this partnership with Acushnet and look forward to working with them to develop products and services that analyze physical ability and the golf swing in three-dimensions and thereby help improve the performance of recreational and professional golfers.”

The Titleist Performance Institute was created to provide players with a total game learning experience by combining training techniques for the golf swing and physical strengthening and conditioning. They have combined industry leading experts, state of the art technology, and world-class facilities to enhance the performance of athletes.
